It’s getting cold out there.

The past few days have been a miracle, the rest area has received donations of hundreds plus blankets, sleeping bags, and pillows. The weather is expected to be 27. So tonight we were able to provide each overnighter an extra layer of warmth. Their gratitude was expressed repeatedly. They were relieved and so are we. Thanks a bunch to all who gave. This night of comfort is because of you.— Kirsten

If you happen to be on the streets with no where to go or you see someone who is on the streets be kind enough to help them out. If the person wants to get into a shelter call 211. You will get to a REAL person. They will ask a few questions. and will be on their way to pick you up and take you to a shelter.

There is lots of love in the hearts of many. Sadly there is still ot of ignorance and hatr towards the houseless membrrs of society I believe that this is becausr a large portiom of sociegy aee one paycheck, one tragedy away from loosung everything. It’s a survival instinct of ” it’s you or me buddy, and I’m going to make sure it’s me that comes out on top.” Here’s a novl idea. Why don’t we follow the example of groups like Right 2 Survive, and work together, so we all survive? Strength in numbers is far more powerfull than going it alone. For those that do strp up to thr plate, thank you.
